Brunel's Language

Brunel spoke of bridges
And he stuck on to his words.
Men and bricks in harmony,
No speak of shagging birds.

Brunel spoke of progress,
Advancing, forward times,
Finding truth in history,
Following the lines.

Brunel spoke of travel
Every single day.
No speak of sitting idle
Or walls about his way.

Brunel smashed them down,
And Juliette as well.
A rock star and a film star
With a real rebel yell.

Brunel had a baby
That wasn’t built by luck.
Brunel was a man
Who really cared for trains.
