Around the Blairs' Breakfast Table

Sometimes we argue,
Sometimes we practically fight.
Other times we pass the margarine around like peace treaties;
The marmite marks the reconciliation.

Once we were out of sugar -
"Go 'round to Mr Brown's, won't you dear?" Mum said.
We look at the morning papers.
"I think the Tories were right Dad - there is something in your eyes."

"I'm planning another party," Dad says.
"Ooh, won't you invite all of Oasis this time Dad?"
We're just like junior front bench spokesmen
The way we can influence the PM over breakfast.
